Rock-on fasteners are ideal for attaching cement backerboard to steel or wood studs. The Climacoat™ finish reduces corrosion which can lead to unsightly rust bleeding into tile.
FEATURES
Larger head diameter increases board surface contact for greater pullover resistance.
Rib design under head countersinks into dense material while preventing strip-outs.
Two point types for steel and wood applications.
Recommended for ACQ treated wood

STEP 1:
A standard screw gun with a depth sensitive nosepiece should be used to install Teks. For optimal fastener performance, the screw gun should be a minimum of 4 amps and have an RPM range of 0-2500.
STEP 2: Adjust the screw gun nosepiece to properly seat the fastener.
STEP 3: New magnetic sockets must be correctly set before use. Remove chip build-up as needed.
STEP 4: Overdriving may result in torsional failure of the fastener or strip out of the substrate.
STEP 5: The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal structure a minimum of 3 pitches of thread.
