This is an overview of some of the benefits and programs offered to eligible ITW Buildex employees. These programs are covered by official plan documents and policies. In the event of any conflict between the contents of this site and the official documents, the official documents will govern.

 LIFE INSURANCE

bullet1 ½ times annual salary in free Life Insurance.
bulletOptional Additional Life Insurance up to 8 times your annual salary at low group rates.

DEPENDENT LIFE INSURANCE

bulletSpouse insured for $5000, children 15 days through 23 years insured for $2000, child birth through 14 days insured for $100 – all at company expense.
bulletOptional Additional Life Insurance for spouse and children up to $30,000 and $15,000 respectively at low group rates.

HEALTH INSURANCE

bulletBlue Cross Blue Shield Single Medical Coverage costs $63.00 per month.
bulletBlue Cross Blue Shield Employee +1 Medical Coverage costs $113.00 per month.
bulletBlue Cross Blue Shield Family Medical Coverage costs $164.00 per month.
bulletTwo HMOs to choose from.

DENTAL INSURANCE

bulletSingle Dental coverage costs $5.00 per month.
bulletEmployee +1 Dental coverage costs $9.00 per month.
bulletFamily Dental coverage costs $12.00 per month.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

bulletImmediate Participation
bulletSet aside up to $5,000 on a pre-tax basis for either Health Care or Dependent Care related expenses

HOLIDAYS

bulletEleven paid holidays per year

VACATION

bulletTwo weeks vacation after one year; three weeks after 5 years; four weeks after 15 years; five weeks after 25 years.

401k PLAN

bulletImmediate participation
bulletUpon enrollment, ITW contributes 4.5% of salary if employee contributes 6% of salary.
bulletAfter one year, ITW will contribute an additional 3-6% based on age and service points.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT

bullet100% reimbursement with grade of "C" or better.

SICK PAY

bulletBegin accruing after 30 days, up to five paid sick/personal days per year.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

bulletFree coverage which provides 60% of pay for up to 6 months.

LONG TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

bulletFree coverage which provides up to 60% of pay until age 65.

SURVIVOR INCOME PROTECTION PLAN

bulletFree coverage which provides 50% of pay to spouse/dependents for 6 months after employee’s death.
